    My most favorite activist is Sunder Lal Bahuguna of Chipko movement. He campaigned for preserving trees. His followers would cling to trees for preventing cutting. His name is not in link.

    I too admire Bahuguna a lot! I think the link only covers the MOST WELL-KNOWN activists in the whole world. There are so many more who not much known but are equal to others in the magnitude and scale of work done by those activists!
