eye for eye and medieval norms of behavior appears hallmark of thwo big nations in Indian subcontinent. First, an Indian prisoner is fatally assaulted in a Pak prison. He dies. Then there is reciprocation in Indian jail. a Pakistani prisoner is similarly fatally assaulted. What is this? Are we living in old tribal traditions when some one entering the rival tribal would meet sure death.

The recent death of a Pakistani prisoner on J&K stands testimony as a proof that both the nations are resorting yo barbaric ways.

Basically there is not much difference in the attitude of both Indian and Pakistani people - the mind set is the samme ! But thankfully there is a sense of democracy here because we are a secular nation...

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

Now I'm seeing a ray of hope in the arrival of Democracy in Pakistan. I hope the hostilities will come to an end. The Indian commissioner in Islamabad will represent India at swearing -in ceremony of newly elected Pakistani Prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

I’m optimistic . I’m confident about India –Pakistan relations that will change for good soon.

I don't think we can compare those conditions with today's as those were not as bad as situation today. We did not have weapons of mass destruction in those days.
