according to Tripura government text book, BJP is a communal party. Now the book is being withdrawn. I wonder if the Tripura Education authorities had a change of heart or this is compulsion arising from increased influence of BJP in national politics. I also wonder if there is any communal party in India if BJP is not one.

Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) president Amitava Debroy admitted that the matter was overlooked and regretted after a delegation of BJP had a meeting with the TBSE..It seems it's change of heart, not an external pressure or compulsion.

Unwanted remarks were made and they accepted that it was an unfortunate mistake. Thus, I don't think it has got something to do with external pressure.
