Camel milk is considered most healthy. But sale and distribution of camel milk is not legal. What could be reason?

The reason is mentioned in the article, one as per superstition goes it is not considered a best practice to milk camels and second the population of camels are already declining, hence consumption of camel's milk is forbidden.

Once somebody told me that camel milk must be taken immediately after milking as insects appear very soon therein. This could be also be a cause why camel milk cannot be stored or transported to some distance. Incidentally, Colonel Gaddafi ruler of Libya always took camel milk. camels were carried wherever he went.

But i believe if camel milk has therapeutic use..milking camels should be legalized.

In naturopathy it is said that mammals produce milk for their progeny and it has properties specific to that species. Milk is also produced till the baby needs it .Man is the only species who consumes milk far beyond requirements and that too of other animals. So please spare the camels.

That is a fact, camel's milk is not potable for more than two hours after that it becomes useless for human use. That could be a reason people do not consume it even if it's rich in many aspects.
