Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi, a freedom fighter and journalist died on 25th March 1931.  He waged struggle against injust and inhuman conditions.  In his own words-  "I am a fighter against oppression and injustice, whether practised by bureaucrats, zamindars, capitalists or those of high caste. I have fought all my life against oppression against inhumanity and may God give me strength to fight on till the last."

He is one of the quite lesser known freedom fighters and social reformers, but a sterling gem of a person and a true son of our nation. Gulshan, thank you very much for posting this. We must all pay our homage to this great person.
