These days CCTV cameras are used at many places to prevent crime though there is also some loss of privacy. These cameras are now common. These were first used by Hitler in Germany.

    The technology changed lot since that time and now.  At that time there was no recording option, now there is. 

    Yes now at most of the commercial places too we can see CCTV cameras. Not only city now it is getting used in small towns too.
