Thank you for the link article. A great article indeed. Of all the qualities of great men, the most important quality is " They know what they do not know". They are humble and they do not feel ashamed of saying about those things about which they do not know.

Yes. You can learn only if you know what you don't know. If you wrongly believe that you know something, you will never learn correctly..Accepting ignorance is the foremost requiement to gain knowledege. Here I remember a story. Once a preavcer went to a viillage.  The people gathered. The preacer asked: Do you know that God exists and  runs the world.  All said- "Yes". The preacer said- As you all know, well, I am leaving.   Some men visited him in the evening and asked him to stay for another day as many could no attend his sermon.  The next day, the preacher again asked the same question. He got a different reply that God did not exist. Again preacer siad that he was leaving as they all knew.  Now the villagers were again disappointed. So again some went to him and requested .him to stay for one more day. This time, half the crowd said that God exsts and another half replied in the negative. The preacer again said that he was leaving as those who knew about God could explain to the non believers. The villagers did not go to him again. But the preacher still waited for one day. If people had just said they they did not know, he would give his lecture. He would teach the ignorants and not those who already had knowledge. .

Very effectively you described to illustrate the point Sir.

This story should be known to all those who boast that they know everything .

Some brilliant points mentioned in this link with tremendous clarity. Simplicity, curiosity and eagerness to ask good questions are all brilliant positive traits to unravel the mines of knowledge that has been already there, but still normal people not able to reach at those sites.

True Mohan. Great people think differently and always willing to learn from others without false pretentions.

Informative article!... The moment we accept our ignorance, the process of learning begins. It is true that people normally do not accept what they do not know, but pretend that they know everything. Their ego does not allow them to keep an open mind or to ask questions about the unknown, thus blocking the path of knowledge.

Humility shows that you are open minded and you are ever willing to learn.

Good article ! I guess the very intelligent and learned people do not feel the need to show off and are intelligent enough to know that knowledge is never ending and intelligence too can be unlimited since it gets enhanced with knowledge and sharpened mental awareness.

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

I think there is no bound to have a person to touch the height of extreme important, most of these successful and intelligent people have their own way to achieve this and most importantly they do not follow any such hard and fast procedures to follow their  path of genius.

One of the most important traits of success people is, they travel in those paths which others failed to tread. This makes all the difference. This enables them to see unexplored avenues hitherto unknown.
