Some do not become fat even after heavy eating. It is because they use more energy for passive phycical activities like heart beat, breathing etc. Even then, they need to avoid heavy eating.

BMR, basal metabolic rate is the minimal rate of energy expenditure. If this BMR is high in an individual, he will not become fat despite over eating.

 

 

 

Whether we become fat or not due to the BMR factor, it is advisable to take regular exercises or Yoga, for healthy body and healthy mind.

A balanced diet, exercise and an active lifestyle is needed for all people...But there are some people who remain thin inspite of eating well probably because their metabolic rate is higher and they may be restless thereby burning more calories than others,,

Well said.  They say activity plays a vital role in keeping one in a sound health. Activity need not be always in the form of exercise. But Yoga is mandatory. Yoga takes care of your physical and mental health. This alone takes care of all other aspects.
