Breathing happens without our conscious effort. But there are certain breathing exercises like Pranayama that we do consciously, which needs to be done under the guidance of a professional master. Otherwise it will be dangerous.

Of course everybody breathes. But a very few do controlled breathing, which has the potential to keep your mind and body in a fit condition,

just breathing will not have much effect. It has to be CONTROLLED Breathing. Like Pranayama in yoga.

Breathing is essential for all living beings, but proper breathing is necessary for good health. Take deep breaths so that oxygen reach to our stomach, it will help in proper digestion, but most people take breath such that oxygen reaches to lungs but not to stomach. So having controlled breathing gives you a good health.
