The meaning of this line is not available any where. but it is a bhajan by mahatma Gandhi, People feel that it is written for hindus only.

Slow and Steady Wins the Race.

This is a hymn popularized by mahatma Gandhi.

'Raghupati' and 'Raghav' both relate to 'Raghu' dynasty. Rama belonged to 'Raghukul' The dynasty was named after Raghu, forefather of Rama.

Raja Rama means 'king Rama'. 'Patit Pawan' means- one who uplifts the downtrodden, Seeta Rama- refers to Seeta and Rama. sabko samati de Bhagwan- Let God give good sense to all.

Thus:

Raghupati Raghava Raja Rama ( King Rama, descendant of Raghu clan)
patit pawan Seeta Rama (Ram and Seeta uplift the downtrodden)
Ishwar allah tere naam (Ishwar and Allah are both same)
sabko samati de Bhagwan (Let God give good sense to all)

Yes you are write.
But I want to say one thing don't mind.
Gandhiji is father of Nation. He was talented and respectable personality of India and South Africa too. Whatever he says or he writes, has deeper meaning.
Even his song has great meaning.
The idea of Mahatma Gandhi was to unite Hindus and Muslims by proclaiming that Ishwar and Allah are same. Emperor Akbar had made similar attempt by introducing din-e-elahi.

But I contend that such tactics do not work. Ishwar and allah are not same. Hindus believe in idol worship and God incarnation, which is contrary to Muslim thoughts.

national unity can be preserved by the spirit of tolerance and respecting identity and independence of all. This cannot be by falsely ignoring the conceptual differences between religions. Even Jain, Budhism and orthodox Hindu cannot be same. I am Hindu and take non veg diet. So, how can I be like a Jain.

We can avoid riots by allowing freedom of thoughts even to those with contrary opinion and belief. We cannot do so by pretending that Ishwar and Allah are same.
