    I would suggest you to go for a Samsung netbook, with 10.5" screen, 10 hours power-backup full features, 160GB space. IMB RAM and all features of a laptop. This must be some thing around 14k in your city although cheaper n Delhi. NO DVD rom but that has no use whatsoever. You can always use pen drives.

    There are many tablet which starts at low rate and it is just affordable to buy as compare to the costly tablet.But it differs in features with the high price tablet.

    I would prefer to use laptops rather than tablets. Tablets has it own limitations which is different from laptops.

    Akash Tablet was the most cheaper one.But it is not available in the market.beside this there are also many cheaper tablet available.
