For bulk production of fruits and veggies, farmers have to use pesticides. Organic farming is there, but it's expensive.
It is true that most of the fruits and vegetables are now sprayed with a lot of pesticides and chemicals to make their appearance and color improve, but the list that is provided in the attached article is not really relevant to Indians as it has been compiled in USA. The veggies and fruits may differ but the problem is common.

Mostly with more careful washing, much of these pesticides may be taken off of the produce. I usually soak most of the produce in warm water to which I add baking soda and a lot of salt for about half an hour to one hour, then wash thoroughly twice and then use.

Pesticides fruits and vegetables wash and rinse carefully.

Pesticides can definitely cause severe acute and chronic diseases. In order to remove pesticides from vegetables I think washing and boiling should be done. Fruits can't be boiled but it can be thoroughly washed and peeling off the skin can also remove pestcides from fruits.

It is not possible for common person to use organic fruit and vegetables. Like dry fruits these are also hi-profile persons.
Pesticides are used by farmers but do these enter the products. If the agricultural produces does not contain the pesticides but only use these for protecting plants, there should be no harm. However this is a technical issue on which agriculture experts can give decisive opinion.

But the skin itself contains a variety of nutrients. By removing the skin we are depriving ourselves precious nutrients. The best way is to grow a home veggie garden. Now a days one can grow vegetables in limited spaces like balconies.

Chemical fertilizers are used to boost the production by the farmer as the natural resources are dwindling. They will certainly enter the produce. However, pesticides which are exclusively used to protect the plant will not pose a risk.

Manure made with human excreta known as compost manure is also used for the produce. Similarly, chemical fertilizers is used. We cannot say that what the plants eat enters their fruit or is same as input. It is for specialists to say about the quality of produce or effect of manure or fertilizers on the plant produce. Output is not always same as input.
