Trust Japanese to come up with something like this, I still prefer the good old large sized watermelon that was made by nature !

this page is not available at present. Japanese can do every thing. In India water melons having weight 1 kg is also available. Usally weight of watermelons are more than 2 kg. For water melons of Rajasthan is best one. Specially which are grown in desert area.

Small size watermelon is known as Matira in our area. These are available in 500-600 gms weight also these are very sweet.

Though square melons are a new innovation, I for one prefer our own water melons for their low cost .
