The article seems to have been written by an ardent follower of congress, while he has faithfully maintained the congress stance of once again pointing out to the Godhra riots, but he has at the same time carefully omitted even a single mention of numerous riots that took place all over India over the period of 20-25 years while congress was in power and the only thing he repeatedly mentions is the massacre of Sikhs, what about other numerous riots?

I guess there are far too many misdeeds done by Congress which would take pages to mention, so they harp on one Godhra incident, not that it is not a serious offence but colectively through the years Coingress must have done a dozen times more....Any choice is better than bringing back Congress to power !

I don't know how right to reject is going to help the cause of public. It is either you chose someone or waste your vote. I have yet to learn the full application of this particular practice.

Actually this is not right to reject but an option 'none of above'. The effect is just like not casting vote and this does not affect result. Any way, some body will be MP from every constituency in spite of this option. So as voters we should ensure voting for good candidate and not be carried away by negative thoughts like 'none of above'.

At least some will know about their real worth. whether its going to send right signal or wrong signals or whether its going to yield any good results or prove to be another exercise in futility has to be seen.Speculations at this juncture will not help.

This is what the authors say, voters should not be implied with such derivations, they should apply mind and choose their own candidate when at evm.

That's the problem that plagues this country. 'Aplying mind' by the voter is a distant dream.

If you are a supporter of BJP you will paint Congress as villain and if you are a Congressman you will call BJP a rogue( Modi included). But a person who loves the people of India and wants their good will know that a particular brand of politics being played in India is more dangerous than anything. Any person belonging to any party who misleads the people, incites feelings of suspicion and hatred in one community of people against another, throws away all human values in his greed for power, resorts to illegal or immoral means to further his selfish interest is more dangerous. He may be anywhere and in any party. He is an opportunist without principle. His only principle aim is to sit on the chair of power that generates money , by hook or crook. It is this kind of politician that is more dangerous. Another phenomenon, that is dangerous is that the media which have unlimited powers, forget that they have to be impartial in presenting the truth, become the supporters of one or the other and become players in this mucky game.
