True. Slavery exists everywhere in many hidden forms. India is not an exception. Even now, the child labor exists, both in rural and urban India.

Till large sections of population are below poverty line, unfortunately it will continue to exist. The well to do want domestic help on 24 hour basis, the younger the child the more manageable.

Slavery still exists in India it is really a pitiful one. Slave exists in India in many forms. Before independence all Indians are treated as slave by the British government. After independence people who have become landlords treated their servants as slave. Father is not doing his duty correctly so son become slave and work to save his family from poverty for this he lose the education in his young periods. Politicians offering free gifts to the public and treat them as slaves.

Bondage exists in the world due to different reasons and the poor and helpless people are the victims. Slavery is the curse of human race. Remember that the masters have become masters by the shedding of blood and sweat by the slaves.

Bonded labours exists due to poverty and until and unless poverty is eradicated, slavery will continue.

There is an interesting Hindi serial named Udaan telecast on Colors channel everyday at 8.30 and 11.30 PM on bonded labor.
