It was a black day for the humanity. All should make efforts so that this kind of happening will never happen in future.

Did the humanity learn lessons from this ill famed holocaust ? NO. Holocausts that kill the humans are still going on. What did the UN could do in this regard ?

Violence is an integral part of human race , tyranny and greed for power is there in many and they manage to climb to the top because there are enough people out there who support them...It was many events , with Japan too causing a lot of destruction and death at Pearl harbor that lead to the bombing and its devastation still continues with people in that region born deformed to this day. But it also made all nations aware of how devastating such actions can be and measures have been taken in the form of anti nuclear treaty ..

Of Course Pearl harbour bombing led to the Hiroshima- Nagasaki bombings. Whatever it may be, the world knew that War is not the solution for attaining peace.

And yet humanity has not learned even a single lesson. the race for possessing more and more nuclear arms and other weapons of mass destruction do not cease even now.

When you have nations like Russia and China supplying the raw materials needed to countries like Pakistan  , Korea and other similar irresponsible countries how can any treaty work? The pirates of Sudan and Somalia too get hold of these weaponery and do they really care ? In some ways I agree with the mass destruction steps called for but even if all nations agree ,there will be other rogues who will experiment again and produce more such weapons.

I agree Kalyani. The greed for having more and expansionism are the inherent traits of humanity. It is for this reason man did not learn the lessons. And there is no hope of it in the near future.

Indeed Hiroshima bombing was barbaric. But as long as imperialist designs continue, such disasters cannot be avoided.

True sir.more than imperialistic designs is man's Greed. Not having contentment with what he has. As long as these traits ore present there is no relief to the world. These barbaric activities will go on.
