Unity in diversity, this is the approach to be followed and synergised in a family.

All people are different, basis of genes, activities, physic, influences around in the early age and what they capture from their mind.

Yes earlier it was a truth of India family, Unity in diversity. But Indian family don't believe in it. Parents home is their home till they start earning, after it they don't like to live with parents and other family members. All have their own selfishness.

It is very unfortunate to have such a situation in our Country.

Hope it changes. Change in culture, fashion sense, lifestyle are the causes of it.

Change is the only permanent thing in life so no point in either blaming it nor trying to stop it. Joint family system may prove advantageous in some ways but it comes with its own shortcomings too.On the one hand we want an educated nation and people taking up good jobs but at the same time cater to other needs as well. Most f the time when there is problem within the family, fingers are pointed towards the woman saying it is her ambition and greed for monetary independence that is the cause. First of all this mindset has to change and men should be made to realise  that they should pool in , in taking care of the home, children, their parents needs etc..

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

Every thing will change with change of mindset. Blaming others is easy but improving ourself is not easy. Men should be take responsibility of  whole family including parents. But it is not possible without cooperation of females.

True, the thing that a woman is pointed out when things go wrong is something that needs to change.

Lifestyle change is both good and bad. Adopting western lifestyle is something which is bad, but becoming independent is a good sign of a developing economy.

Today's generation women are becoming more independent in India than before, it is a very good sign and should continue, because they know how to use freedom better than men.

Life is like a boat in a sea, there is a lot to learn, so never close your mind to your limited experiences!

It is right that women of present India is more independent that earlier, but mind set of men are still like earlier. Patriarchy is still dominant in Indian society.
