Santosh- Vegetarian is a word derived from vegetable. vegetarian food is obtained from trees, plants and crops grown on land.

egg is not grown on land. This is not derived from tree, plant or crop growing on land. Hence, egg is not vegetarian. What is not vegetarian is non vegetarian.
so, egg is non vegetarian. Here, I am only defining and not commenting on virtues or harms of taking eggs.

Santosh, the eggs that we get in the market are not viable, ie, they cannot be hatched into chicks! therefore they are described as being vegetarian!

I thing in Egg there is no blood so we treat as Vegeterian but in future it converts to nov veg so its come among them.

It all depends upon each one's perception.

According to me all are non-vegetarians because we all must eat simple chapati daily which is made out of wheat.

Wheat is produced by killing a living plant by uprooting it, than thrashing it to remove grains of wheat. This process is equivalent to cutting a living chicken or any animal.

Pure vegetarian is the one who only consumes fallen fruits from the trees and such other food.

As per chef's view which have no head (what we eat) is vegetarian so fish,goat,lamb,chicken,prawn all comes under non-vegetarian but Egg come from One of the animal which have Head so they cant take it as Vegetarian and also cant non vegetarian so they have introduced a word eggitarian
