The Govt. of India cannot stop China from saying what they say or showing anything in their map. All that we can do is to seize their maps and literature showing Arunachal Pradesh as partof china. We may also lodge protest with them. The option of taking matter to UNO is not desirable..

Hi Ashish,
Thanks for initiating a discussion on very important matter of our national interest. Very few people are bothered and show interest on such national interest. I am happy that you raised this point here.

Arunachal Pradesh is part and parcel of India. Do you know then why China is claiming it. There is an hidden agenda behind it.
America is importing a mazor part of its regular necessities from China continuously. America has to pay back its value to China regularly. America has to increase their business by selling more defence material to other countries and get money, hence China helps America in getting such business, so that they get their regular payment for their supplies. This is called international politics of business promotion.
China pose a threat to India in the name of Arunachal Pradesh. India to take control of the situation and difensive measures, enter into many defence deals with America and pay back to them, which in return America pay back it to China for their supplies. Thus America indirectly making us to pay for their necessities. Both China and America will be happy for this, because they both see India as a potential competetor for them in future.
At present, we have a threat from Pak and Kashmiri millitants. Since 1947 we are spending lot of money for defence to face it. Inspite of that India got developed to some extent and moving ahead. To increase the defence budget and cut short the growth rate of India, both China and America with the hidden involvement of Pakistan are playing this game and we need not come inti their trap.
Sridhar,
Thank you for your note here.So it is a drama directed by America and produced by China!!!

Very correct. U.S.A. and China have their own motives in lining up against India. India has no option but to strengthen militarily, attain self sufficiency and be ever alert against evil designs of China, Pakistan and others. Strong diplomacy is also needed. r

China is a very important neighbour for India and going by our growing trade with it and the vast market Chinese products enojy it would be just impossible for it to ignore this factor while shaping any policy towards India. What I am alluding is the need for stability in relationship with India should of paramount importance for China. Both these are countries are viewed by the world as two topmost growing economies with potential to become ecnomic super powers.Unfortunately China intensely dislikes this competition and wants to be the only super power in this region and pursuing a thoroughly negative policiy towards our country. And its alignment with Pakistan is to be seen in this light. And the latest act is nothing but an attempt to nettle India on border issues so that our scarce and precious resources are diverted more to defence needs than to ecnomic development of the country.

Now coming to the question raised in the forum:What India should do? I honestly believe the Government of India has been a little soft and uncertain in this regard. Why can't it think of measures In the field of trade and commerce which would force China to do some rethink. We can also think of some measures at the diplomatic level which should aim at building strong international opinion against China's hegemonisitic ambitions.

Last but not the least, show of firmness is absolutely necessary. China is somehow convinced that India is a soft and porous country and we have to blame our political leadership for allowing this perception to grow.If you look at the history whenever China tried to impose its will on countries like Russia and Vietnam with which it has border disputes, show of firmnes by these countries forced China to see reason and retreat.
Right from the day, the first foriegn invaders enters into India since last 1300 years ago, India is being looted by others directly or indirectly in many ways. Un-fortunately we Indians lack unity to arrest such evil anti Indian practices of foriegners. We have our own internal political and cultural slaves who became selfish and involve in promoting the anti Indian policies of such external forces. Most of the media houses in India are today either owned or funded by anti Indian external forces. Hence, they too became biased and behave like traders. Our own un-employed youth have been employed in such media houses and are being used against uniting we Indians as a single entity.

A strong movement by the people who really love this country is necessary in a right direction under a capable leadership.
Today, if at all any leader comes forward to lead such a movement, then immeadiatly our biased media first attempt to lable them as extremist, terrorist or a fundamentalist. And, the biased secular tagged corrupt political groups never like such movements to succeed, because it is again detrimental for their survival.

This is how the young generations are getting fed up with the present atmosphere and keeping themselves away from cleaning the system. Many few are thinking about it and are trying to bring a change. But, their voice is being suppressed.
