Had the nation's pride and honour not been at stake, one would have simply called it the silly season and allowed the Commonwealth Games to quietly wallow and die in their own

After all, the officials behind the supposedly grand spectacle have already turned it into a joke; and, at least some of them have happily laughed all the way to the bank and are blithely back for some more loot. But clearly they are not yet done.

do we boycott the Games to tell the corrupt politicians that we will not sit quietly while they splurge/pocket our hard-earned money? Or do we participate in them whole-heartedly because the entire world is watching?

The answer probably lies somewhere in between: every sports lover who turns up at the Games must consider wearing a black ribbon on his/her arm? Across the country, too, wherever we go – malls, bazaars, schools, colleges, and offices – we must demonstrate our protest in the same manner during the length of the Games.

This is a wonderful opportunity to tell all of them: enough is enough. We cannot afford to let this anger subside; otherwise, they will come back to plunder us in the name of the nation and its pride all over again
Sumit, We are Indians..I am sorry to say this but most of us are very forgetful and forget everything after a few days cos we are bothered about only our family, our lives and our people...

Even this will be forgetted...that's why we have been electing the same politicians again and again and again...

Well said Anu..it is what exactly happens and often very crucial problem are not solved or same mistakes happen.
This not the moment to discuss it and let us be happy with the fruits of hard toils of our players and sportspersons!!
Yes,it is time to cheer up for India as Chinmoy stated. :) :) :)
It is hoped that the corrupt officials will be dealt with strictly after the games are over.
