It ca be succeed not sure.
A Lok Pal is nothing but mechanism to inquire in matter of fraud and corruption. Presently, frauds and corruption is investigated and action taken by concerned departments of government, central vigilance commission, central Board of Investigation etc. The comptroller & Auditor General reports reveals financial regularity in Government departments and submits report to Public accounts committee of Parliament. Corruption cases are tried in various judicial courts as well and suitable action taken.

Lok Pal will be another agency and some functions of aforesaid organizations may be transferred to Lok Pal. It is also possible that staff from these organizations be transferred to Lok Pal.

Lok Pal is just a mechanism. real cause of corruption is our electoral system. Presently, you need Rs. two crore approximately to win a Lok Sabha election. Multiply this amount with the number of M.P. required to form a majority in Lok Sabha. Nobody will pay this amount from his pocket. Corruption will pay this amount with profit. Unless you reform elections and make these less costly or introduce state funding of elections, corruption cannot be combated.

Now a days most of the laws are made by rich and corrupted person so it will harmful to poor and uncorrupted person..
I don't think so with red tapism and bad politics having strong presence in our democratic nation.

Arise Awake and Rest Not till the Goal is Achieved.
All the bad things of the present India may also affect the Lokpal.

I think it is not going to help much the cause in the long run as Gulshan ji rightly pointed out the fact and proves it by providing some useful links to support his his point of view....
There is divergence of views
in the U.P.A. on the Lok Pal Bill issue. It seems unlikely that a consensus surfaces between U.P.A., not to speak of consensus among all political parties.

Some suggestions by Hazare team will require amendment to Constitution, which needs two third majority in parliament and also ratification by state assemblies. It means that even if the Government agrees to Hazare, all his demands cannot be implemented at drop of hat. So, the 'civil society' members of Hazare team need patience. But they are desperate and regardless of ground reality and constitutional compulsions, threaten to go on hunger strike on Independence day.
