    yes in today world's , there is decreasing the importance of joint family everybody wants freedom and nobody wants restrictions.so joint family is best but nobody wanna opt this.

    Joint family system is good, now a days every women wants freedom so they don't want to stay with their in- laws and forget the advantages of the joint family

    Joint family system was broken as a result of industrialization and urbanization. But the concept is still not totally useless. The joint families gather on important events like marriage, death, inauguration of house. There is also mutual cooperation. Living at one place is not a necessary element of joint family concept. It is spirit of harmony and cooperation that matters more.

    It can be brought back but in todays environment staying or spending time with family is lacking and isolation is more prefered. :(
