    They are all remnants from our former ancestors who could very well use these organs to their benefit. But since evolution is a continuous process and human beings are still adapting, maybe a thousand years down the line, humans will have successfully gotten rid of them naturally!

    This is true that some of 'useless body parts' might have been useful at some time. Moreover, everything is not for utility. When we construct buildings, there are many things that we do not actually need but yet seem necessary for other reasons. Similarly with body parts. The male nipples may be unnecessary but these are necessary for women. Men and women body parts cannot be very different. So men have got nipples just as token. Man is a natural product and we have to accept as we are. We could do without hair on head, mustache or beard. We would be saved from ordeal of daily shaving or trimming hair. It is no use commenting on human body engineering.

    Actually every body part that human has had some use in a particular time period but since a part is no more being used is taken for of no use. Like we still have mark of tail but tail is no more there. In ancient times tail was a useful organ.
