Yoga guru Baba Ramdev says despite ill-treatment by the Centre he will not stop his crusade against corruption, illiteracy, poverty and bringing back thousands of crores of black money stashed away in foreign banks. “I have no political ambition. My mission is for political purity. Our target is black money, corruption and other ills plaguing Indian society. We are striving to change the corrupt system for the good,” he claimed.

He also said that no cases are pending against him. “There is no case against me. But I am a man of cases. Government has put ED (Enforcement Directorate), CBI and DRI on to me. Since the last six months they are working, but they could not find anything. Government agencies like CBI at times do good work. But bowing to the diktats of the government is not correct. It should protect the fundamental rights of citizens but not bury them.” Baba Ramdev held talks with the Telugu Desam president, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, in Hyderabad on Tuesday and sought support for his crusade against black money and the Lokpal Bill. Mr Naidu has promised his support.
