    This is a very heinous crime by parents in law. They were coercing their own daughter in law, still a child, into prostitution. International community need take such offences against humanity in consideration and take necessary measures.

    Afghanistan is neither a full fledged democratic society nor a modern civilized state. But even according to Talibani Islamic standards, rape and prostitution are sin. Purdah system is understandable but not forced prostitution and torture for this. UNO must take action on this.
