Hello Friends,

Should Judges be treated at par with other government employees as far as owning properties proportionate to their income is concerned. Because Judges are also Government Officers drawing salaries from the revenues collected from Indian citizens.

Or else, there is any constitutional provision for having different rules for them?

    The rules for judges should be same but they must not be placed under Executive authorities in any manner so as to preserve independence of judiciary. The judiciary should have its own disciplinary machinery.
