Political outfit only on anti graft not viable

Recently, some anti corruption crusaders have announce intention to form a political party on single point of fighting corruption. according to Justice Santosh Hegde, this is not feasible.

I agree. A political party only on a single point or even two points can never succeed. A political party must have overall policy of governance. There can be social movements on single issues but political parties cannot be formed. we cannot even lead our life on a single theme only.

    To run a political party only one matter should not be considered viable.Team Anna's only major fight was against corruption.They must fight for all those issues which normal people suffer.Then a strong political party can be formed.

    The team anna members grouped for a single purpose and so could begin a movement for that. But they do not have same ideology and there is no likelihood of their forming common policy on foreign matters, Kashmir issue, reservation etc. As such, they cannot form a political party. If they form only on a single issue, the party will collapse just as their movement did.

    Obviously, any government formed in the center needs to have capacity to solve problems of all types. Everywhere confusion is arising. Political party which gives solution to more than one problem should rule the state and also the country.
