A survey conducted by the Times now indicates a huge gain for AAp in the coming general elections. 70% of the population in the cities have said that they are impressed by AAp's performance. Modi is still the most preferred PM but Kejriwal has pushed Rahul Gandhi even further down taking over the second place....So AAP will be a force to reckon with in the coming days and months ...

No wonder in hear that.. But hope Aap will able to continue their performance in future too. I hope it will not just convert into party which only think for their benefits.

Most intersting part is 33 percent preferred AAP in Modi's home turf Ahmedabad.

That is a worry since our system is so corrupt and corrosive that it can change even honest people and make them corrupt. But now with the changed scenario where people are fed up and realise there is an alternative, it is only right that all of us strengthen AAP's hands so that we get a better government in the future...

As long as AAP do not keep backtracking on what they have promised and continue with their transparency and honesty, I think they will definitely be a force to reckon with and will be hard to ignore in the national arena!

The way I see it is that emergence of AAP in Indian politics is like fever developing in a system. A fever is not a disease but a symptom of one - may be simple cough and cold or cancer. Our main political parties have grown outworn, bankrupt and in a self-destruct mode. AAP is using this space. Even if AAP under Kejriwal fails, none should harbor any illusion that the result would be automatic going back to these bankrupt parties, more radical parties may emerge into the scene!!

It is definitely because of the present scenario that AAP has emerged as a better choice, only time will tell whether he will change the system for the better or get swallowed ito it. In fact the later scenario may become a realty since the major parties will not let go and may somehow manage to pull him in...We may know for sure how serious AAP is in a matter of 1 or 2 years !

@Usha

Our main political parties have taken the common people of India for granted and for a ride too for far too long and their leaders are behaving like punch-drunk boxers with AAP's emergence. Even a seasoned yet a stinkingly corrupt leader like Pawar had the audacity to assert that AAP would blow away like Assam Gana Parishad!! Just think of it!!

This news can change the mind of many people while voting. AAP is really doing good. Hopefully the next PM should be from AAP rather than Modi.

A survey is a prediction made on the basis of the present mood of the public. It's up to AAP to measure up to the public mood and its expectations. Let's see what emerges out.
Both Congress and BJP accepts in the discussion about AAP's force, the difference between then and now is, AAP is no longer an hidden current, now political parties are aware of it and they for sure will devise strategy to handle such flash opponent.
