European probe Rosetta sent in space by the European Space Agency had remained inactive for 31 months and sent its first signal to earth today. She has been up in the space exploring comets for nearly a decade and had gone to sleep for 31 months hence was dubbed as the Sleeping Beauty! :) :) Her chief function is to explore the nature of comets which are said to have been resulted from the birth of the solar system and hence, may unlock the secrets about our existence too! Rosetta is their version of Kumbakarna, now it has waken up and sending pictures, this is very interesting as space research has vast unexplored field which remains to be discovered and hope fully some new comets and some new interesting news would be there about space this year.
