Entire NE region is prone to earthquakes. An these Natural disasters have become regular feature. Tremors were also felt in Delhi and Kashmir. According to latest news 6 people died. There is a chance of an increase in death toll.

In last few months earth quakes occurred many times, and now it become the habit of the people living in this region that earth quake can occur at any time and there is nothing new for them. Pakistan, Afganistan, Hindukush region, Himalay region, Nepal and now in Manipur region earth quakes have more frequent than earlier.

People learn to live even in the most hazardous conditions. When my place was affected by Hudhud 2years  ago, we, the people of Vizag did not leave the place, But we learned to live. Even during a heavy rainfall, we  recapitulate the lessons earned in such Natural calamities. There is no option.

The man himself is responsible for the disasters. If he continue to exploit the nature then there will be more dangerous disasters occur than now.

It is really very fearful. No one knows what will happen the next minute and if something like earthquake takes place then there is no time to take any preventive measure and devastation takes place. Feeling extremely bad for the North East people.

I don't think its man made disaster. As far as I know Earthquakes happen when two blocks of the earth suddenly slip  past one another . The surface where they slip is called Fault or fault plane. The only fault I see is if a region is located in an Earthquake  prone region, Earth quakes happen.

To some extent Human being is also responsible for earth quakes. We are extracting oil, mineral and many things from earth which creates vacuum,  and space is created in layers of earth resulting in the movement of plates.
