There is acute shortage of water in certain areas of Rajasthan bordering Pakistan. Also, people do not share water between different castes. They collect water and keep under lock. Thus water is much more precious than Gold.

Water is another form of Life. So save water and save life. Give water who is thrust.

:( This is not a very good sign of times yet to come, imagine having to keep water under lock and key!! I think severe steps should be taken now to conserve water and take steps for rainwater harvesting to avoid similar situations.

There is a small village called Hiware Bazaar in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. This region is actually extremely dry with very low rainfall and is usually drought-stricken for most of the year. In the recent years, the sarpach of this village Mr. Popat Pawar implement rain water harvesting programs and now this place has turned literally into an oasis of sorts. :cheer: :(
