Yes, it will be an advantage to blood transfusion cases.But I think voluntary blood donation will come to an end by the introduction of synthetic blood.

I don't think so Abid, synthetic blood will still be a distant reality to many because it will be expensive considering the production costs! At least in India, there will always be demand for cheaper human blood sources, there is no dearth of professional blood donor.
