New topic creation in forums

Hello Moderator,

When we create a new topic in forums, the check box with the text "Check this box to have yourself notified about replies to this topic" is checked by default. So every time the user has to uncheck it for avoiding notifications. Can you make the default value as unchecked?

    This is checked by default to make the new members get the alerts so that they will not miss anything. I suggest remembering this to uncheck it if you do not want alerts. Other way is go to your forum profile and remove the subscribes.

    I was also facing the same problem, unchecking it everytime.

    Probably it will be solved now, by changing the subscribes in the profile settings..
