How can I check the working of my referal link?

When I send invitation to friends they do not get the right page with my referal code.So I also tested my referal link.To me it gets as "edit your details"(I pasted the referal link to browser and tested).I think my referals lose by this way.What is the reason for this?How I can check whether it works properly?

    If they click on your referral link, it will be stored on the request. Since you have already logged in, you are getting edit your details page. If you are not logged in you will get register page

    Hope it will work.One of my blog friend joined as per my introduction.But credit goes to none.How will it happen?Can he delete the referal link already there?
