I would like to know first thing that till now how come the editors names are not yet displayed who checks the articles and gives remarks on the same along with approving the articles when Maverick sir himself told that this system would be implemented few days back.

Secondly, can anyone tell me is it necessary to write the articles in notepad? One of my articles has got a remark that if my articles are not written in notepad it would be rejected henceforth? Does anywhere in Boddunan's website is it mentioned that it is mandatory to write the articles in notepad and not in Microsoft Word?

Looking for a reasonable answer from the members & moderators
Thanks

Editors' names are not given as a matter of practice. I think, the names should be given. Writing articles in notepad is not necessary. You may write direct in Boddunan. I initially tried this. As internet connectivity would be disrupted, this could not work. Then I wrote first in M.S. Word and then copied in Boddunan. Direct copying is not permitted. You have to use the button in Boddunan for copying articles from M.S. Word.

Hai Rashmi,

There are many editors in Boddunan. Excluding old editor Lohit, there are new editors in the recent times like Santosh, Meean and myself.

And coming to your first question, Maverick told already that this requires a new software. So would take some time. So be patient.

Next, the formatting in the article would look good if you opt the method of copying from notepad. But this would not be the cause for rejection. You can send a link to the article, so that I can have a look!

Thanks 'n' Regards,
Deepti.
Wel thanks deepti for your help. My article is not rejected it is approved but it is accompanied by a warning which i had mentioned in my query above.

@gulshan kumar ajmani : I post my articles by pasting from word into Boddunan's word paste option only. i dont paste it directly in to the editor section.

If i m pasting from word then, why i should do the formating in notepad?
@Rashmi,
The answer for your question is already present in my previous post.

Well, have a look again.....
Formatting in the article would look good if you opt the method of copying from notepad.

Rashmi,
Now i can see the names of the editors for the articles. I saw the editor name in the below one which is written you coincidentially.

i would be expecting a reply from the moderator that is it necessary to write articles on notepad or not.I m not asking about the formatting but in general.

This has really made me feel very annoyed :huh: Without any intimation to the writers before posting articles that one must write articles using a notepad only otherwise your post would be rejected, the editor must not mention any such remarks by themselves.
You need format in Boddunan itself after paste from M.S. word.

well rashmi,

I agree with you that editor remarks can be more elobrated then giving such a answer. actually as said by Gulshan there is option like PASTE FROM WORD...use it.

Already the moderator has implemented the software and editors name is displayed near point.. :)
@Rajani K :
i always use that option only for posting my articles. i never paste from word directly. Still the editor has written such remarks
Your article approved already so do not worry more about it. I just given warning that you try to use notepad. I use notepad for your article than I approved it.

So if Maveric sir reply on this forum that paste from word is ok than no problem.
