    This is a good idea to encourage maximum log in period on the site. But any reward- cash or points has to be comensurate with the benefit site gets from members's activity. If the site earns nothing from any activity or mere idling, it is inconceiveable how any benefit can be given.

    I think Soubhagya can answer to your question as he is the moderator and have more idea on who are doing well on that forum. So he can decide the best member in a particular area or discussion and boddunan is ready to give the points suggested by him :) .
