It is impossible not to be astonished by India. Nowhere on earth does humanity present itself in such a dizzying, beliefs, creative burst of cultures and religions, races and tongues festivals, colours, spirit to fight, love and respect. India has a rich and unique cultural heritage, and has managed to preserve its established traditions throughout history whilst absorbing customs, traditions and ideas from both invaders and immigrants. Many cultural practices, languages, customs and monuments are examples of this co-mingling over centuries.

Perhaps the only thing more difficult than to be indifferent to India would be to describe or understand India completely.

India officially the Republic of India, is a sovereign country in South Asia. It is the 7th~largest country by geographical area, the 2nd most populous country, and the most populous democracy in the world.

India is the world's 3rd largest economy in terms of purchasing power and the 12th largest economy at market exchange rates. India has made rapid economic progress in the last decade.INDIA is not just a piece of earth; she is power, a Godhead." This is how Sri Aurobindo looked at this country and its rich ancient civilisation. But all that he wanted fellow Indians to have was "the firm faith that India must rise and be great".
