GOOGLY....

Googly was my sweet cocker spaniel dog that was lost two years ago. Today I saw googly coming towards me that too at a place where I had never thought him to be. It was the ewe of Diwali when the children were doing firecrackers and due to the loud noise Googly had run away from home. I searched  for him in whole of the village that night but found no clue. Finding him no where, I thought he might have fallen prey to some wild attack.

I had come here on a business tour and was surprised to find Googly here. Googly was licking my feet and perhaps trying to tell me that I am your lost friend. Soon I saw a man coming towards us, he was calling Tiger..Tiger. I came to know that it was Googly's new name.

I was curious to know that how did Googly reach 200 Km away. I greeted the new owner of Googly and introduced myself to him. He was a thorough gentleman and lived in a house nearby. He asked me to come with him and had a cup of tea. I agreed and went along. Googly was so excited to see us both together. He was continuously licking my feet and his new owner's feet alternatively.

We both were sitting in the lawn and a lady come here to serve us tea with hot pakoras. I thought she might be his wife but she was not actually, she was Sheena, a lady who took care of his son as his wife had died an year ago. Sheena was his employee. After that Sheena came along with his five year old son, Mintu and asked Mintu to play with Googly now as she had to leave since her duty time was over.

Mintu's father and Googly's new owner, Prahlad told me that he had gone to my village two years back for a business deal. On that Diwali night he had to come back suddenly because his wife had fallen ill. When he reached home he saw this dog to be sitting under the seat. He was suprised to see such a lovely dog in his car. He couldn't make out from where had it happen to be there.Till then Tiger is with him as Mintu's best friend. Prahlad's wife was also quite attached to Tiger and before her death she always took special care of him.

Mintu was playing with Googly and Googly with Mintu.

I had finished my tea and Prahlad was saying that he would do the arrangement for sending Tiger back with me on my return journey.

But I humbly refused to do so, now Googly was not Googly, he was Tiger and Mintu needed him.

I couldn't separate the two innocent beings.
