Water is required by all may be animals, human being . All living beings required water for various purposes. About 2/3 rd of the earth is covered by water.Water is the most essential thing for all of us. Water is the most precious for us and we cant live without it we are only guilty for making it dirty and making water polluted. we should understand that we have the responsibility towards the environment and water should not be polluted. Water pollution is not a new topic water is getting polluted from years and we all know about it but yet it is not controlled.

What is water pollution?

Water pollution means mixing of substances in water which make it dirty and not proper to be used for drinking and other purposes.when Polluted water is drink it creates problems for birds, animals , human beings etc. Many harmful materials get mixed with water in lakes, sea, oceans and make it dirty.When water is unfit to drink it it is called as polluted. The chemicals from factories mixes with the water and make it very unhygenic for drinking purpose.

Causes of water pollution

The main causes of water pollution are water getting dirty due to use of water at the sides of lakes and rivers and other water bodies. Many people bath, wash clothes near water bodies which make it dirty and harmful for using it.The other main cause of water getting polluted is due to factories which throws out the harmful chemicals and its waste substances which mixes with the water and thus makes it very harmful to drink. Toxic materials and chemicals shouldn't get mix with water it may also make dangerous for drinking purpose.
