Eating smaller meals is the best way of controlling overeating since your stomach remains reasonably full at all times and each time we eat 25 % of calories are used up for digestion ..Drinking water, added with 5 or 6 meals makes practical sense when one is working and needs to have energy all the time..

Some  but let people draw their own conclusions people may consider certain things as superstition and irrational thinking while for others it may be a firm belief , so it is best not to be judgmental about other peoples beliefs unless it is dangerous for the society as a whole , which is not the case with many of these beliefs ..

In some states, the process of removing the Industries already started which are causing pollution due to which leading to health hazards. But I'm sure it's too late.   I live an area almost 12 km away from city center on Delhi Dehradun highway where one of the biggest tyre factory was established in 70s. Slowly people started living around that factory  and developed colonies and markets. Now they have started to say the industry should be removed as it's source of pollution. Where should the factory go and what's the guarantee the same story will not be repeated once again?       This sort of thing happens in many cities , goes to show how lop sided our policies are.Why not have a Industrial zone where there is no permission for residents to live and vice versa ? In some larger factories they have provision to keep large areas vacant , so that they can use it for expansion and keep the residential structures away..

If one is convinced and determined to have a conflict free relationship, then nothing would come in the way, unless the other  person is totally opposed and unwilling like it is happening in the political scenario in our country. But generally speaking all relationships re based on mutual respect and trust and a lot of give and take ! I wanted to mention a case about one of my colleague whose husband lost his job and she was the only bread winner, with two children and her in laws to care for ! But the way the two of them managed the situation made all os us admire them. They stood together and managed the difficult times which went on for more than a year and of course now things are fine ! They seem more caring and closer now after that, which goes to show that difficult times actually should bring people closer if there are genuine feelings rather than shallow, surface ones..

Divisions and splits made the Hindus weak and vulnerable to the attacks of Mughals. It is not a fact that Hindus have no warrior heroes. The fact is that Hindus mostly are the sycophants of the winners and Power mongers. With all these disadvantages Shivaji remains great who challenged the mighty Mughals.

One fact of history is that the Hindus were never united and as such failed in military warfare. Even Shivaji as a  soldier was defeated in a pitched battle by the forces of Aurangzeb led by raja Jai Singh. Shivaji's son joined the Mughals and so on.  I think Hindus were paranoid against each other and more often sided with the invader. Like Jai Chand  and Mir Zafar. Frankly it was all a mixture but overall suzerainity was always with the Muslims. Shivaji died in 1680 and Aurangzeb died in 1707. Shivaji is given great prominence only because Hindus have no warrior Heroes.

It is the education that is necessarily that makes a difference. Every extra year spent in the class rooms takes you towards analytical thinking which is necessary. This type of education keeps an individual far from superstitious  and irrational thinking. But remember, there are exceptions too. There are educated illiterates. No amount of education will make them literates.

It's the ministry that inspects and decides where an Industry should remain or cancelled. In AP, the new capital has got all the environmental clearances because, the location of the Capital is free from any human habitation right now.

Very informative article. This thought provoking article confirms further each extra year spent in the class room led to a considerable decline in the belief of superstitious practices like belief in horoscopes and lucky charms etc.
