In wb one fifth years student denied to give contribution for teachers day and seniors ragged her and she died.- this is also happened.

Yes, this unfortunate incident did take place. But this is a bit different case than what we are talking about here.

Yes it is better to start new thread for this topic. I coming to original topic, India was a religious country, India in religious country and In will be religious country, It is not possible to set aside to religion. Seculor India means country where all religions are equal and not a religion free country.
Is this not unconstitutional to force teachers and students to participate in prayer in Govt. school? What is meaning of secularism if 'prayer' is thrust upon. A teacher's salary was stopped as he refused to participate in prayer. However, High court favors him. He will get paid the salary that was denied to him

Hearing this issue, it makes me think asking are we living in so called Secular Country India? Our country is well known for secularisam all around the world. Where goes 'University in diversity'?

Born to express, not to impress.

With two prominent religions here - Hindus and Muslims, we were pretty much secular still. But yes, I really wonder, secularisam is what keeps our country united and we must not lose that.

This is 'unity in diversity'. Different parts of our country are diverse. But the change is not abrupt. Change over the entire region is gradual like rainbow. Secularism does not mean that you do not believe in religion. Personally I don't believe. In fact, you may believe in any religion but while performing official duty, religion is not relevant. Individuals have religion whereas state has no religion. Secularism is relevant to state and not individual. Religion is a personal matter as long as this does not disturb or harm others.

You pointed out one thing correctly. The people who are performing their duties, then and there they have no religoin. This goes beyond this at times. In Crime Patrol on Sony TV, there was a story when a Christan man donated his one kidney to a Muslim youth.
