Interesting...I think people who worship Indian Gods and Goddesses are losing faith, hence foreign Gods are tried and tested now. Just like we have accepted foreign culture, Chinese food and so on.

True.. It sounds funny too.

So far in we are adopting foreign stuffs over our things. Now same thing happens in religion too.

Kwan Yin is thought of as a feminine form of Avalokitesvara (Sanskrit), the Bodhisattva of Compassion. The worship of Avalokitesvara found its way to China in the third century. It's very much Indian. And it's not bizarre.

We Indian already have a large list of God and Goddess for worship but I feel that as like people think that Chinese mobiles have all the features in one and that too in cheaper rates so they are now switching towards chinese goddess also. It reminded me of movie PK. When PK inquires about the working of Goddess.

My reply is only for making humor and it has nothing to do with religion so please don't connect it with Indian or Chinese religion.

Yes, everything has it's roots and origin in India...only we forget and then some country would bring it back to us only for us to realize it was our own..be it language, religion, food, clothes or thinking.

Not everything originated from India. There are other civilizations equally highly civilized like China, and Egypt. But whatever originated from India are precious and very valuable which we fail to acknowledge. The bizarre goddess is nothing but the female version of Bodhisatwa , other name of Buddha. The female version has found its way in 12th century to China. There is nothing bizarre about it.

You are right sir not everything is originated from India, but now we don't value those things also which are originated in India and later on when it comes in a modified form from foreign countries we value it and adopt it and then later on we get to know that it's origin is from our country only.

It happened in Ayurveda case.when the people all over the world realised, the side effects of mainstream medicine allopathy, the entire world turned towards alternative therapies especially Ayurveda. Of course, Indians followed the suit that was looked down by our Indians.

Of course all in the world is not of Indian origin. But Buddhism in China and some South East countries has Indian origin. Buddha's teaching had affect on various countries. Emperor Asoka can be credited with spread of Buddhism.
