I have observed that a number of threads have come up and more may in short time, only for writing some mantra or shloka evry day. These help members to get point without any useful contribution. Personally, I do not favor this trend. i do not understand what is the use of simply writing- hare Krishna- or Sai Sharanam- or any such thing except to give some points without any contribution. I may also add a thread by just writing- Budham Sharanam Gachhhami Sangham sharanam Gachhami- and ask others to also write the same daily and get points.
I know there are at least three or four such threads that can help me to gain 25 or thirty points without any contribution.
I hope moderators and others will ponder over.

I strongly disagree with you Mr Gulshan.It is giving me an impression that you are not aware of Science behind mantra/sloka.

A mantra is a specific combination of letters or words which has
some special meaning. If it is used in a particular manner it can create wonder. It is very powerful.

Each mantra is recited in a repeated and continuous manner. It creates vibrations in the universe which creates a pattern of rhythmic resonate in the mind of the seeker and consequently produces purity and desired effect. This science of mantra is very ancient and it is a great tool for concentration and meditation.

Kumaresh- I am not disputing the mantras and not even discussing these. However, daily writing and rewriting these on the forum is only for gaining points without any active contribution. It may be okay to say Hare Krishna-. But daily writing this just for gaining five points does not appear proper.

Gulshan ji,

Writing without uttering Mantra comes under the mental recitation of mantra. It benefits the reciter. Point is secondary thing.

@Kumaresh,

I don't have any comments on science of mantra. I am just bothering about the forum posts. They seems that they are just intended for points.

K then, my suggestion is remove points for that thread. Then problem may be solved.

@Rakesh:

I agree with you, this is a good point, moderators should draw the point system from such posts then the issue can be solved, because it is unnecessary giving loads of points to everyone, or these type of posts should not be in forums.
