First of all, I am saying sorry to Santhosh. You begin such a good topic and I missed it.
Changes occur in everyone's life and everything are not to be discussed. ie. Some things we may not like to reveal, of course. :)
But, one of these incidents have really brought a great change in my life(but not teh biggest!! ). I am sharing it with you people.
At school time itself I used to write small poems, kids' stories....and of course, I wrote a kids' novel when I was 11. But as I concentrated more on studies, I forget it.
Later I joined Bsc Computer science. Of course, language is not a part of our studies. Our college only has 2 courses, Bsc and BBA, so number of students is low.
Last year, for annual functions certain written competitions were there. At that time only minimum number of students were ready to write in English.
We know, there is overall trophy for the best class and one boy from our class has got good written skills, particularly in English. So, we knew, if competitions of English are not conducted, we will loose his points.
So,to get him points, most of students of our class participate in English essay writing and versification.
But when result came, I got first for essay competition while he got second. In versification also, I got second while he got third.

This competition proved to be a best catalyst for me and I started writing once again
He, is the person, who supported me very much and bring the philosopher out of me. Anyhow, that incident can be considered as one of the turning points of my life, which helped me to write more and win competitions at PG also.

This book has changed me too.......some months before.
I would ask everyone to read this book. You will understand how worthy our life is. It motivates us to reach our goals, sure. It brings us more self confidence and answers to many unsolved puzzles of our mind.
What Smriti quoted is 100% correct. This book can really change your life and you will surely think, if I had not read this book, my life would have been a futile one.
