I agree with you Chinmoy, The situation is gloomy for Indians who are already facing so many problems right now. One lesser would have served them better. We need a drastic change in our election system with a cut in number of parties allowed to contest national level elections.

Electoral reforms are long overdue but the most depressing thing about them that all the parties agree to it, yet they field some thieves, swindlers, crooks and knaves as party candidates. All parties are guilty of it if you look at the antecedents of some who are in the fray in the ensuing assembly election!! :sick: :sick: :sick: :sick: :sick: :sick:

The main parties will never agree to that. In fact, they want more candidate to contest so that even a very few votes can see them in the power and also, if smaller parties or independents win, they could bribe them in their own favor.
