In the name of democracy, we have violated every single norm of any civilized society. One such horrible practice is that we can urinate in public, or spit in public. We can throw waste wherever we want. We can allow cattle on the roads, and consequently such cattle can spoil any road.

We also have the public right to make any platform of any railway station. We do not even care to dump the waste in the dust bins provided.

Why not impose a fine of Rs.150/-, for each such offence? Why should the offender get away with it. Members may please share their views.

For every law violation, there is a penalization. Difference is those laws are never implemented.
Recently, on my native place, municipality have introduced fine if any household dumb garbages in front. It is being held by many people to make this township clean.

There are many cleanliness drives organizwd by Vizag Municipal corporations. But people as usual dump the garbage anywhere except Garbage cans exclusively arranged for Garbage.
As far as urinating in public is concerned I abhor it! But I think before imposing a fine, govt, should take adequate measures to build public toilets and ensure that they are clean enough to be used by men and women alike. It is okay if the public have to pay and use such toilets.

Same goes for garbage bins, should be their in all public places.

Public toilets are very well there. But they too are abused. Maintenance is almost nil. Owing to this reason, people shudder to use those roads and streets, because of unbearable emanating stink. And about garbage less said better it would be.
Public toilets are there but the condition is pitiable...there has to be proper maintenance, which is lacking.

And who is responsible for this pitiable condition? Public is provided with amenities in a platter. What if the public drills a hole in the platter? System cannot keep a constant watch on the people. People should take the responsibility of Joining their hands with the system and strengthen the system. Public participation is as important, if not more to have a clean and healthy surroundings.
Most of times many people love to throw garbages in front of others, this habit needs to be changed.

There must be adequate public toilet facilities as well as punishment for any voilation. My idea is that persons urinating should be photographed and their photo in such pose be published in ewspaper.

Even such cases where the violators were photographed and published in the local papers, this urinating nuisance has not reduced. Shameless and irresponsible people cannot be amended.
