it's A MISTAKE ON THE PART OF OPPOSITION TO OPPOSE SUCH AN ESSENTIAL AND USEFUL MOVE LIKE ROAD SAFETY.

We have bad temper, bad roads, more people, more vehicles. This has cumulative effect.

Delhi has high number of vehicles and roads of Delhi are comparatively better than other cities but still there are increased number of accidents here that's all because we don't follow traffic rules.

Unless traffic rules are adhered to, the situation will not change. Outsiders who come to visit India will face a hell of a time in these chaotic conditions of Indian Roads.

Not following traffic rules is the main reason why there are huge traffic jams. People do jump signals as they are in hurry which often causes road accidents.

Not following Traffic rules or to that matter any rules is the characteristic of a true Indian. In Singapore one person threw a wrapper of chocolate through the window of his car. Immediately, the traffic cops followed the speeding car intercepted him and Booked.

We need whip lashing. Else the condition of the roads will remain like this forever.

Hmm...that's true we people enjoy breaking rules. We need to change ourself. Police can't run after everyone.

The problem is police department itself is indifferent. Most of the traffic. Violations are happening under the very nose of police.

That's right. Moreover the way number of vehicles are increasing day by day controlling has become tough for police.

The fault lies with the city planners. They did not take in to consideration about the future needs when the population and migration of those people grows who come for a livelihood

Rampant corruption practices in development authorities, leading to ,is-planning of cities, large scale migration of unemployed youths to nearby towns and cities, lead to opening up small vending unauthorized shops and cabins on the side of roads to congest the space of roads thus increase misery of commuters.
