YEAH ! I have also seen these and I think the media is doing all these because in today's world the negative thing is seen in eagerness but the positive and good think are seen by only few persons.

Media is interested in Creating Sensationalism. But in this respect both Yakub Memon and Dr. Kalam were given equal coverage.

no sir i am sorry but the media is very much interested in covering the yakub case because these will take the channel at another level .

You need not be sorry. You can express your opinion in the discussion forums, but clearly.

Media is a commercial enterprise. It is their perception aboit public responsethat matters. Everyone appreciates Kalam, Ex Presdient but there was nothing spicy about reporting his funeral and thoughts. So they gave more importance to Yakub which had more news value for media.

Exactly sir. As you said Media chooses those events which are more " Spicy " as you put it aptly. But in this case Kalam too was given equal coverage. Some times there will be exceptions too. Even today news pertaining to Dr. Kalam are flowing in.

Yakoob had news value only for a day or so. Kalam is valuable in every respect for ever.

Like the man, news or any information about Dr. Kalam has that longevity.  Today I had seen a news item about Dr. Kalam's views on Ayurveda.
