Mostly asteroids gets burned as soon as they enter earth's atmosphere due to gravitational force and presence of Oxygen.. :)

Many asteroids does pass through earths vicinity very often, most wont be able to enter our atmosphere as it will get burnt out or may just pass off.

The recent update from NASA is the two asteroids narrowly miss earth.That's really a good news.!!! :)

Also it is predicted that an asteroid measuring more than 600 yards wide, which has a one-in-a-thousand chance of colliding with Earth in 2182. That collision promises to create more damage than that of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.

;) This would be taken care of by the forthcoming generation. ;)

the asteroids weren't that big really, they were just some 10 metres big i think.

Yes ,Raja i agree with you. 2010 RX30 was 10-20 meters wide and 2010 RX12 was 6-14 meters wide.The special thing about this is it is a doublefly within 24 hour period.
