Usage is increased when comparing to the past. Several persons health spoiled by using Gutka.

No usage is reduced as now the same Gutka that was of 3 Rs is now people buying it for 6 Rs or so.Thus people have reduced using it and that's better for their health too. :)
Even UP is going to implement a ban on Gutka from April 1, 2013. The decision was made after HC orders.

Live in the present :)

But do you think it would be implemented there?

I don't think they would be able to make it law there as the law makers too there eat Gutka what will they do then?.
All MLA.s do not consume Gutkha. Gutkha is banned in many states. That is why they brought an advertisement alleging that cigarette lobby is being favored. Even if politicians and those in power may have weaknesses, they know what law is good and they enact and implement. That is why we have so much law.

Here, if films are shown on TV, actors using cigarette, it should be written below, "Smoking is harmful to health".

Our government was always in favor of putting a ban on gutka and has finally achieved it.

Banned on Gutka it is really good news. Government should complete ban on manufacturing, marketing and sale of Gutka.
This is a right decision of Govt.

Government has already given direction that if cigarette smoking scenes are there in movies, advertisement against smoking should also be given on screen.
